Paul has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry with a strong history of building successful wealth management teams who provide exceptional client service. As a managing director and complex manager, he oversees the Greenville, SC and Asheville, NC offices. His objective is to understand the professional and personal goals of each advisor and help them maximize their potential for business success and personal satisfaction.
Paul graduated from Hamilton College and earned an MBA from Emory University. He joined BB&T Scott & Stringfellow in 2015 and holds the Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses, as well as Life and Health insurance licenses. Paul holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial planner Board of Standards.

A recent team at BB&T Scott & Stringfellow transferred 95% of their client assets in the first three months, 100% in six months and 110% in first year.
Our affiliation with BB&T allows our financial advisors to expand their client relationships by providing a full suite of financial services and investment choices. In addition, financial advisors have the opportunity to expand their business through an internal referral sharing arrangement with BB&T Wealth Management. This system allows our advisors to serve their clients’ financial needs better and deliver a full complement of investment offerings.
